Christmas for the Birds

Admission: Free

What's it About?

Please join us at the Living History Park as we remember the birds at Christmas time.

We will host a party on Saturday the 4th of December from 10 am to 2 pm to create decorations for the birds to eat throughout the winter!

Please bring apples, oranges, peanut butter for the birds and food for our 4 legged friends (dog and cats) to be given to the local pet adoptions centers. Or just bring yourself and the children to share the joy of creating and giving gifts at Christmas. Cider and cookies will be served and story time will be held at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30. Lots of fun and food for all!

We have a special treat this year!
Learn how colonists—and their slaves—observed Christmas in the backcountry. Famed storyteller Kitty Wilson-Evans will be here to share her wisdom.
